At 17 weeks pregnant I’m nearly half way there and I can’t believe the time has whizzed by so quickly. Thus far, pregnancy has been pretty kind to me. I’ve had spells of sickness and I’ve felt quite tired, but compared to lots of other women, I’ve had it easy. I still haven’t quite got my head around the prospect of having an actual baby at the end. I’m told that when I start to feel the baby move, reality will strike. I’m looking forward to the next stage of pregnancy.
I’ve found that there are things in my wardrobe that work as maternity wear, which is great as I’m loathed to buy too much new stuff; I already have more than enough. I bought this Saloni dress from The Outnet earlier this year and the elasticated waist is generous enough to accommodate my growing bump. I usually associate navy and white with spring, but it fits me and right now practicality trumps seasonal concerns. I’ve worn it with a sheepskin jacket from Celtic & Co (similar here and here) and a slick of Cruella lipstick by Nars.
