I’ve loved vintage clothes for as long as I can remember. Although I don’t have time to go rummaging through Camden and Portobello markets anymore, my style is still very influenced by 20th century fashion. The 50s and 70s are my favourite decades, primarily because clothes from those eras suit me. I think that personal style evolves out of a combination of the things you love, and what works on your body.
This skirt is by Dawn O’Porter’s brand BOB. I met Dawn last week at a party thrown by Benefit Makeup, where she had a pop-up shop. I was so impressed by the gorgeous colour and quality of this 70s inspired skirt that I couldn’t resist snapping it up. I’ve worn it with a cropped t-shirt (similar here) and block sandals by Senso. I’ll wear this all summer long, with boots when it’s chilly and a bikini on holiday.
My sunglasses are old favourites by Tom Ford (similar here).
